Choosing wallpaper is about much more than finding a pretty picture. Wallpaper is the centerpiece of the room's design — it sets the mood, defines the tone, and can sometimes completely change how the room feels. Here are a few rules of thumb to help you choose well.
The one-wall rule
In most rooms, we recommend choosing just one feature wall and leaving the other walls a neutral color. This creates a clear focal point without tiring the eye. The right wall is usually the one behind the sofa, the bed or the dining table.
Colors — warm vs. cool
Warm colors (red, orange, yellow, brown) bring the wall closer and create an intimate feel — great for bedrooms and dining areas. Cool colors (blue, green, purple, gray) "push" the wall back and create a sense of space — ideal for home offices and small living rooms.
Pattern size
A small room calls for small, dense patterns. A large space "swallows" small patterns and needs a large, bold one. A simple rule: the bigger the room, the bigger the pattern can be.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the material, size and complexity. Our wallpapers start at ₪89 per m² (vinyl) and go up to ₪220 per m² (premium fabric). For an average 3×2.5 meter wall (7.5 m²), plan a budget of ₪650–₪1,650, depending on the material.
